This Entity Makes Music is my latest album, and features 10 original compositions. This album differs from typical jazz records, in that almost every song has a “solo” section but rather than featuring individual soloists, the entire band improvises at the same time in attempts to tell a story and engage in spontaneous group composition. I produced, engineered (overdubs), mixed, and mastered this album.

Farewell (2020) is my second album that consists of 12 fully improvised compositions, recorded in my spare bedroom during what I can confidently say was the craziest year of my life. Meant as a reflection on the year, I hit record with no plans of what I would play, but to react and compose in the moment. I mixed and mastered this album

Rest/Unrest is my debut full length album as a leader. I wrote all of the compositions, played guitar throughout the album, co-engineered the recording, and mixed the album.

Tales From a Broken World was an EP of my compositions with only one take each, and was engineered by myself despite playing on it. In 3 hours time, with the aide of a looper pedal to set the levels, we: setup the studio, recorded 5 songs, and broke down the studio. This album was mixed and mastered by myself.

Peace in Pieces (EP) is my first release as a leader and my first attempt at producing, mixing, and mastering. With the group comprised of guitar, bass, and drums, I decided to follow Wayne Shorter’s “Zero Gravity” approach where I essentially brought the group one melody statement with the instructions of: “start from anywhere. Improvise, interact, and create spontaneous composition, eventually we’ll meet in the middle with melody statement.”
